Scope of work For RFR - 3D modelling, Structural analysis

The bridge connects the dense city of Boulogne-Billancourt with its large concrete platforms and winding roads to the embankments of the river Seine and the old industrial Seguin Island. The total length of the path is 220m. The bridge consists of two tied arches, beared on a central concrete console providing further pedestrian access to the walkway along the Seine River. Since the structural depth of the arches has been reduced to the minimum, the stiff pre-stressed concrete deck stabilises the highly loaded arches against lateral buckling. The arches transfer all dead and uniformly distributed loads, while unbalanced loads are taken by the deck.
