Scope of work For RFR - Shape studies and 3D modelling

The terminal building is around 85m long and 36m high and contains more than 4000 square meters on three floor levels. The bubble acts as an observation platform and offers a mix of restaurants and conference spaces. Several studies have been carried out to define the final geometry, which is now based on a stretched surface of rotation in the front part and a scaled surface of translation in the back. The big advantage is that flat glass panes could be used for cladding this complex shape.
